We’re excited to share the latest updates to SmartCAS, designed to make patient management and service tracking smoother, more organized, and more practical for everyday use. Here’s what’s new:
Patient Management Made Easier
- Custom Registration Numbers: You can now assign your own patient registration number when creating a new patient. This flexibility also extends to existing patients, so you can update their records as needed.
- Organized Document Storage: Each patient can have multiple scanned documents stored in folders. This means you can neatly organize medical records, prescriptions, or any supporting files for quick access.
Smarter Service Tracking
- Substitute Devices: When a patient’s hearing aid is sent for service, you can tag an existing stock item as a substitute or standby device. The system will automatically mark this substitute as “sold,” saving you manual effort.
- Accessory Tracking: Customers often hand over accessories along with their hearing aids for service. Now, you can record these items too, ensuring nothing gets misplaced.
- Additional Charges: We’ve added options to include extra costs such as service fees and courier charges directly in the service record, making billing more transparent and complete.
